Recording Details
Bach Musica NZ concerts are recorded by Franco Viganoni, using state-of-the-art equipment and binaural recording technique. The resultant CDs are a real reference, totally true (coughs, noises and air conditioning too, unfortunately), in phase and free from any electronic manipulations and effects.
Recording equipment: 3 Viganoni-modified & upgraded microphones Schoeps Colette series (2 x CMC341 and 1 x CMC32) – Viganoni microphones preamplifier-mixer-crossover – Tascam digital recorders HD-P2 and DR-100mkIII.
Monitoring equipment: Audio Pro Avanti A.20 DC – Audio Pro modified subwoofer B2-50 – Preamp Sachem Pure V.2 and 2 x Sachem V.3 mono-block amps – Electrostatic headphones Stax Signature with its SRM-X Pro amplifier.
